It's really nice to have a proper place for your butts. Or roaches, or just any ashy stuff in general.
For the smoker in your life, I give you RON. He was inspired by a childhood of playing in the ball pit. He's about 3.6" in diameter and 2.1" tall (the wood bit itself is .65" thick).
RON is milled out of walnut and finished by hand here right in my workshop. He lives on ceramic saucer which can collect said stuff, or just be another ash tray if it turns into a party.
